Would you be a patient at your own practice? Does walking through the front door create aspiration and deliver a sense of calm? In order to deliver a patient experience that not only exceeds expectations but can change your patient’s perception of dentistry, you must come from a place of empathy.

Get to know who your patients are and empathise with them. Are they mostly young families? Then having a dedicated child-zone will make parents feel welcomed and understood. Are they predominantly professionals? Having dedicated workstations with charging devices will allow them to work and wait simultaneously.

These are the first stepping stones to fostering a lifetime patient relationship.
